As a rule, the dimensions of an aircraft exceed the standard dimensions of the cargo, so this transportation is classified as oversized.

In such cases, we use special low-bed semitrailers which reduce the total height and allow to set up the length of the semitrailer for the length of the cargo.

The latest transport of the helicopter from the UK to Mongolia wasn’t an exception. Bogdan Panov, the head of the oversized department, shares some interesting facts from this case:

“ We immediately realized that this case is unique when we received information about the cargo. The client’s requirements are not just to transport an oversized helicopter, the parameters of which allow it to be placed only on a specialized low-bed trailer, but also a whole range of additional conditions that must be provided during transporting of high-value aircraft. The main task was safety and transit time. Considering the high value of the cargo, the security measures were: protection from atmospheric precipitation, dirt, and unauthorized impact. The solution was a specialized shelter. This shelter consists of a strong frame with a hard tent cover and it was designed and manufactured considering the of dimensions the cargo. This is a unique service and not the first case in JENTY practice with special technology for oversized cargo. Detailed studying of the route allowed to exceed the client’s expectations, load cargo in time, and organize direct delivery to Mongolia in a short time.”
